Jim Corbett National Park

Corbett National Park is situated in the foothills of ancient Shiwalik range. It is named after the legendary hunter-conservationist Jim Corbett. An average of 40,000 people visit Corbett Tiger Reserve each year. 25% of people visiting the park stay within the park at night and others make day trips.

Gir National Park

Gir was declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1965. The sanctuary area is 115.42sq.km with an additional 258.71sq.km declared as national park. Around 530 Asiatic lions are left in Gir.
